Professional Experience
Virginia has specialized in grant writing and fundraising since graduating from Harvard University in 2013, and has extensive experience working with corporations and corporate foundations, independent foundations, city agencies, and state agencies. She has raised more than $5MM for organizations spanning various industries, including Bank Street College of Education and Habitat for Humanity New York City. At Habitat for Humanity, she has served as a Frontline fundraiser and lead on 50+ proposals resulting in $870k awarded and led more than 10 proposals for COVID-19 response and facilitated reallocation of existing grants, resulting in $125,000 in funding.

Passion for Social Impact
Virginia believes that the solutions to today’s challenges must be community-led and incorporate an intersectional, social justice lens. Among the issues she is most passionate about are racial equity and justice, immigrant rights, and prison abolition.
