Chelsea is a seasoned people professional holding key responsibilities in HR, People Operations, and DEI work. Chelsea focuses on People, Culture, and Experiences throughout the workplace, and has worked in various environments including nonprofits, staffing agencies, and information technology and media organizations. Chelsea serves as the heartbeat of an organization, as she excels in supporting, developing, and guiding staff.
Chelsea currently serves as the People and Culture Manager at Accelerate Change, where she sits in a staff-facing capacity fielding questions throughout the day and providing support when needed. Chelsea approaches her work with a critical diversity, equity, and inclusion lens to execute strategies that promote an innovative, inclusive, and supportive workplace!
Chelsea previously worked as the People and Culture Associate at The Trevor Project, where she developed, executed, and facilitated wellness programming, helped develop internal culture communications, and co-led in the design, development, and execution of The Trevor Project’s Inaugural Affinity Group Program. In addition, Chelsea worked numerous years within Talent Acquisition for The Trevor Project and TEKsystems, where she was responsible for managing full-cycle sourcing, hiring, and onboarding a diverse set of the world’s top talent.
Chelsea has helped create meaningful experiences and been a champion for a diverse range of groups across global communities including LGBTQ+ young people, mental health advocates, IT professionals, and students. Chelsea has a unique perspective with subject matter expertise of the entire employee journey—from sourcing candidates to the development of staff to off-boarding colleagues.
Chelsea is a Digital Volunteer at the Trevor Project, where she speaks with youth in crisis.
